“The Other Volcano” project, created by Nelly Ben Hayoun and shot by Collective member Nick Ballon (photographer). The project is a series of semi-domesticated volcanoes which are housed for a couple of weeks in the living spaces of volunteers. These designed supra-natural objects will be large, imposing, and extremely inconvenient – erupting dust and gloop into living rooms seemingly at random. Nick’s images from the project are currently on display in the Welcome Trust windows on Euston Road.
